Hope Valley royally screwed up my order. They not only lost it "in the warehouse" (after it had been paid for!), but they never even would have known if I hadn't asked about it. Because the whole ordeal took so long, all the items I ordered were out of stock. Instead of offering exchange items (similar prices), they acted like this was totally normal and "too bad so sad". What the ??? I wrote an email to complain to the "manager", and not only did I receive NO response, my online account was deleted!! WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. No problem, I will keep my business with Equestrian.com. Better prices and much better customer service.

I ordered a birthday gift for my mum from the website, I am a student and don't have much money. I placed the order as their website showed they had the size in stock. They got back to me the next day saying it wasn't in stock so did i want a bigger size or a refund! I replied that I wanted a refund, they didn't then get back to me until days later and still no apology, I was left unable to get my mum a present until they refunded me the money a week later! The customer service was disgusting!

I will never use this company again. I ordered a pair of wellies which leaked on 2nd day of wearing them. I called customer services and was told to return them for examination. I asked about return postage cost and she said that would be refunded. The boots were found to be faulty and I was refunded the purchase but not the £12.98 return postage. On phoning for a postal refund they said I should have used a free post address and that they could only refund me £5 by cheque. Phone calls are recorded - the original instructions I had been given were incorrect and the company were at fault. I found the girls in the office unhelpful and mocking me. Being £8 out of pocket and by point of principle I shall be contacting trading standards.

Purchased some tredstep leggings for christmas which I returned due to incorrect sizing on my behalf, ordered an alternative and sent a cheque to cover the difference. Was expecting them at the begining of February and after having to chase the order for any information have just been advised that they won't be available to the end of March!! Very poor communication on their part.
