I have bought two saddles from them . The first was fine but the second one was ages arriving from the maker and I never ever got the girth I ordered from them . Not very good about part - exchange when you buy new and does seem to push the same makes all the time . Did have some nice leather work in store when they were at West Meon but haven't been to the new shop . I am not that happy with the second saddle I bought and am thinking of changing it . I don't think I will go back there . I will def get another opinion on this saddle first .

I gave my Albian saddle to Meadowlea Saddlery to sell for me as I had bought a new saddle from them, it had a saddle cover and was in very good condition with no marks or fading , after 18 months it had not sold so I asked to have it back to sell myself, when I collected it there was white paint spots on the seat and it was very faded at first I did not think it was my saddle , the saddle cover was missing, when I pointed this out the owner Jill became very rude and agressive and told me it was in bad condition when she took it to sell this is not true.
I was very worried that the new saddle I bought from them never really fitted my horse so I asked a qualified saddle fitter to look at it and she told me it was a very fit and had been causing my horses back to become painful.I do not think the owner of Meadowlea is a qualified saddle fitter .
