The good
It was easy to administer and the instructions were clear, and on this horse it seemed to work.
The bad
I found nothing negative about this product.
The verdict
I would recommend this product for horses that are fretful and worry as this certainly worked. The owner will definitely be using this product again.
I did not use the calmer on my horse as she was laid back on the day we were going to use it, but used it on a friends horse who does not like travelling and usually frets in the horse box and at shows, and as we were going to a show we felt it was the ideal time to try it.
I had the apple flavoured one which seemed to go down a treat. The instructions were clear. Prior to loading (about 10 mins) we gave him the calmer, and loaded him on the box, whilst travelling he was very quiet and calm (usually he if fidgety and trying to move around.
Once we got to the venue and when unloading him he was nice and calm and not sweaty or fretting, he usually comes off the box sweaty and gets silly at shows but there was non of this. He has never used a calmer before but after the good results we will be using this one again.

Yes i would reccomended to any one. It is very good and calms the horses very quickly.
My horse is very spooky and very nervous with anything in site and it usually takes 1/2 hour to calm her down. After the apple calm she did not spook or get nervous and she was more focused with her schooling. I also used it on my other horse that I've had for a while. She tends to get nervous when saddling up, and takes ages to girth up, but after the carrot calm, was happy for me to girth up.
I think it would work on different horses even the very nervous ones and would help nervous riders.
I thought the product was very good and well labeled with clear instructions.
It's not the brand i usually use, but i would use it again.

Yeah I would recommend it. It did make an impact on one of the horses but I wouldnt have brought it in the first place.
I used the CARROTCALM on a 5 year old Connemara at his third show as it was a bigger one so I thought it would help him out. He didnt do anything naughty at the last shows and wasn't very "up for it" but this competition was an ODE so there was a lot more horses and things going on. I gave him the CARROTCALM an hour before the dressage and it didnt have an effect on him he was just the same old Rocco didn't make a difference.
I then used the CARROTCALM on Oscar (my main eventer) as he gets a bit hot under the collar sometimes and worries inside and doesnt show it out, so I gave him CARROTCALM an hour before the cross country and he usually tries to bomb off with his head in the air but he didnt this time so it did effect him and helped us towards the clear round and seemed to chill him out and not stress.
